Transfer Admissions Telecounseling

Have questions about the status of your application? Need information about changing your major? Want to know more about what life is like as a Red Hawk? We're ready to answer any questions you may have. Just sign up for a telecounseling appointment and a Transfer Admissions Counselor will be in touch with you during your appointment time.

Before you register, please note the following:

• Appointments will be posted weekly. 
• If you have questions about Financial Aid, please contact Red Hawk Central.
• If you have questions about Immunizations, please contact Student Health Center. 
• Telecounseling appointments are not Advising Appointments that allow you to register for classes. If you are an accepted transfer student, please follow step 5 on your Accepted Transfer Checklist to schedule your advising appointment.

  Interested in applying to Montclair State University for the Fall 2026 semester?

  Please join us on campus for our Transfer Application Day on Thursday, May 28, 2026 between the hours of 10:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. No appointment needed. Drop-in anytime.

  At this event, you will have the opportunity to learn about the Montclair State University application process and submit a Fall 2026 Transfer Application with the assistance from our staff. In addition, your application fee will be waived.

  We will accept supporting academic documents (including official college and high school transcripts) should you have them readily available.

  Please note: this event is not an Instant Decision Day, Transfer Student Orientation, or Campus Tour.
